AU 34 - MSU 0

When was the game over? Or is the better question did it really ever start. MSU played hard, especially there front 7-8 in choosing to get beaten by the air and holding our running game at least in check. The sad part for MSU is they are not even in the same league as someone like Auburn right now, and most likely 5-6 other SEC teams.

Auburn's passing game was nice to see, our ability to win two games two different ways has made some defensive coordinators at least think about packing 9 in the box and covering man to stop the run. Would some fans like to see us run up the score, sure, we all want to be USC, but Tubberville has never been one to run up the score to prove a point. Bottom line is LSU was already being planned for before the first snap of the MSU game was taken. MSU might be back some day but for now, you chalk it up to a good prep game for LSU.
